Professionally, I have a masters in social work from Fordham University, and a masters in Human Sexuality from NYU. I started out right after undergrad as an English major, working in the Publishing industry, as well as Performing Arts. Wanting to pursue my dream to become a Sexuality coach & educator, I entered the Social Work field in 2013.

For the last ten years, I've ultimately worked with lots of folks to help them achieve lots of different goals. My favorite areas to work in are:

 -dating, sex & romance

-weight loss

-life change goals, like career change, or starting one's own business.

Personally, like many of you, I also adore travel. And also like many of you, I love to keep on challenging myself with personal goals as well. I also just love having fun! ;) 

 

That's where TheCuriousKatydid comes in. I'm curious and I want to run around life and have some fun!

 

Although that said, sometimes in life, there are things we cannot control, or things we cannot change; we can only play the hand we're dealt. It's important to face and explore that, too... to understand ourselves and our options better. And then there's also a lot that is change-able... what-if-able... adventure-able! Based on all this, I want to see what's what... what's imaginable...what, indeed, is possible?

 

As for TikTok, I will be transparent with you that I have hopes and dreams: after nearly ten years in the social work field, by 2021 I still didn't feel like I was quite achieving my career goals. I also went through an odd (thankfully resolved) little health scare in 2019 that sent me on a soul searching journey (That said, I'm not sure soul searching ever really does begin or end in life??).

 

In 2021 I felt ready for change, ready for new creative challenges. What might happen if I really owned some of my dreams and put them out there? What if I tried to establish a social media art project based on my different interests? I studied the platform a bit, then started doing things I enjoyed, hoping to meet like-minded folks who wanted to travel life a bit too! If I could make some friends, wonderful...if I could discover a new creative outlet, wonderful... and if I could make some career next-steps, absolutely wonderful! And now, I've had the amazing good fortune so far to meet so many wonderful people indeed, like you!

 

My favorite way to travel is through the eyes of locals... Every person is a little treasure trove of passions, interests, talents and experiences... I appreciate every single person who has taken the time to share themselves with me, and each other, expanding our little world! Thank you for helping make TheCuriousKatydid what it is, and I'm quite excited to keep working on giving us the best experience possible!​
